Here's an overview of all the basic stuff you can do to help you get started
Use this option to clear the project
Use the open option to open a curve project file
Save your project using the save option. Project files will appear as a download
Click-and-drag the background to move the viewport
Use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out
Depending on what type of mouse you have, you'll need to change the "Mouse Wheel Mode" which can be found under "tools > Mouse Wheel Mode"
If you ever get a bit lost with the viewport, press the reset button to bring you back to zero
Use the create menu to create a new unit
Select a unit by clicking on a part of its body, avoiding any interface items (buttons and dials, etc)
Hold 'shift' while clicking and dragging to select units in an area
Hold 'shift' while clicking on different units to select and deselect
Simply click-and-drag units around the page
Holding 'shift' and 'alt', click-and-drag units to rotate them
This will make units pan and rotate in blocky increments
You can also hold the 'alt' button then click-and-drag a unit to duplicate
You can also cut/copy/paste/duplicate groups of units, which will maintain their connections
Click-and-drag on a connector port to start a connection, then drag it to another port to connect
You don't have to disconnect a cable, before trying to connect it elsewhere
Double-click the connector port to disconnect
You can have a cable replace a connection - and so long as you don't stop the click - pulling the cable away will reconnect the other cable
There are four main connection types, each with their own particular colour. Each type covers a different type of transmission and you can only connect ports of the same type
Red - Signal
Green - Voltage
Orange - Audio
Blue - Data
These are referred to as "CUIS", or the "Coordinated Universal Interworking Standard", which you can read more about in the Library
Note: Audio connections have a direction, and as such you cannot connect together ports that are both inputs or are both outputs
